Free Watching Reincarnated Movie From Home

Determined to grow as both a human being and an artist, hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg takes a spiritual pilgrimage to Jamaica as filmmaker Andy Capper captures his gradual metamorphosis into Snoop Lion over the course of one profoundly transformational month. For as long as Snoop can remember, he's been rapping, but upon turning 41, the hustler lifestyle begins to take its toll on the man who turned out such hits as "Murder Was the Case," and who has seen the lives of too many friends taken by violence. While visiting Trench Town, Snoop seeks the wisdom of the Nyabinghi community elders in finding a new direction, and reflects on the past and future while immersing himself in Rastafarian culture. Later, in the wake of a deeply affecting meeting with the legendary Bunny Wailer, Snoop Dogg embraces his new identity as Snoop Lion. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Review For Reincarnated

Snoop has certainly tempered his worldview, but enlightenment isn't as evident here as much as a woozy weariness, perhaps a long-term byproduct of being very, very stoned.
Andy Webster-New York Times

In its simplest moments ... "Reincarnated" presents an honesty that is its own reward. It shows us an old Dogg with no tricks.
Mikael Wood-Los Angeles Times

Snoop's involvement as a producer does a disservice to the film. Was there anyone behind the scenes with veto power?
Peter Hartlaub-San Francisco Chronicle

Snoop is a fascinating figure who deserves better than this puff piece.
Leor Galil-Chicago Reader

The rap artist's spiritual journey (he's now Snoop Lion) seems earned, rather than the publicity stunt others might have caught a whiff of originally.
Miriam Bale-New York Daily News

The whole thing does feel like a self-indulgent exercise on the part of Snoop, though he remains an artist of undeniable substance. In this case, a controlled substance.
Bruce Demara-Toronto Star

The film is most convincing as a musical travelogue, drifting through clouds of weed smoke toward some form of Doggy-Lion enlightenment. If not taken too seriously, it's kind of a blast.
T'Cha Dunlevy-Montreal Gazette

All told - and this film knows exactly who its audience is - a reminder of what famously enriching company habitual stoners are.
Malcolm Jack-The List

Comic, pretentious and tedious.
Philip French-Observer [UK]

The film strikes an impressive balance between serious concerns and several hilarious episodes - usually involving Snoop and his entourage enthusiastically partaking of Jamaica's bountiful crops of marijuana.
Terry Staunton-Radio Times

There's a nagging sense of indulgence that leaves us wondering just how truthful this documentary actually is as it follows Snoop Dogg on a voyage of personal discovery.
Rich Cline-Contactmusic.com

You suspect the camera crew returned from Jamaica with about 20 minutes of usable footage.
Robbie Collin-Daily Telegraph

One can't help thinking that if you've tasted all the spoils it is much easier to give the sweet life up - while still riding around in a Rolls, of course.
Derek Malcolm-This is London

There could have been an interesting documentary here had the director stepped up to challenge his subject.
Henry Barnes-Guardian [UK]

Lavish PR mission or genuine example of creative renewal? Beats us...
David Jenkins-Little White Lies

Thoroughly engaging and entertaining to watch, thanks to a strong direction and Snoop's unapologetic and vibrant personality.
Jennifer Tate-ViewLondon

It features more weed than a pot-warming party at Bill & Ben's but offers little more than spliff-glazed promotion for Snoop's reggae reincarnation.
Patrick Peters-Empire Magazine

More honest than you might expect a promotional piece such as this to be, but less self-investigative than you might like, you come away thinking there are much greater depths for Snoop Lion to plumb.
Marjorie Baumgarten-Austin Chronicle

First-time director Andy Capper observes the star without judgement as he desperately tries to court Jamaican acceptance as a modern-day Marley.
Stephen Kelly-Total Film

You don't even need to be high to enjoy this gratifyingly candid, funny and moving portrait of the Grand Master Toker.
David Noh-Film Journal International

With a legacy forever haunted by Death Row, Snoop is looking to reggae for something positive to leave behind. That's a worthwhile journey, even if it looks like it's sponsored by Adidas.

Review For The Internship

It's a testament to the duo's jazzy comic chemistry that they wring some laughs from this dated, frankly sinister premise.
Guy Lodge-Time Out

There are plenty of films out there competing for your money ... 'The Internship' doesn't even deserve a part-time gig ...
James Rocchi-MSN Movies

A pleasant collection of mild laughs.
Owen Gleiberman-Entertainment Weekly

Today's weather forecast in Mountain View? Giddy with a chance of delirious.
Lisa Kennedy-Denver Post

The Internship just might be the saddest movie of 2013. That few will realize this makes it even sadder.
Mick LaSalle-Hearst Newspapers

Google, the corporate entity, is so lovingly portrayed that the film itself resembles nothing so much as a massive product tie-in.
Peter Rainer-Christian Science Monitor

There are bad movies, and then there are movies whose success would bode ill for cinema's future. The Internship is the latter.
Nathan Rabin-The Dissolve

Getting explicit sponsorship from Google is one thing; acting as an extended ad for Silicon Valley's finest strip joint does seem a bit seedy.
Catherine Shoard-Observer [UK]

Alongside the film's increasingly irritating 'Googliness', The Internship is as silver-tongued and soulless as the rhetoric it appears to peddle.
Rob Carnevale-The List

This Wedding Crashers reunion has enough snappy dialog to keep us laughing even if the film itself feels like little more than a two-hour Google advert.
Rich Cline-Contactmusic.com

Agreeably topical, intermittently funny, occasionally moving... and arguably the biggest product placement plug of all time ...
Graham Young-Birmingham Post

A laboured, mawkish plug for Google.
Charlotte O'Sullivan-This is London

Error Code 404: Laughs Not Found.
Peter Bradshaw-Guardian [UK]

Not funny and very predictable.
Henry Fitzherbert-Daily Express

The comedy of scam and flim-flam is very funny for 20 minutes. After that the script is bent like chair bamboo towards the kind of furniture film-goers are presumed to want for their moral and emotional comfort.
Nigel Andrews-Financial Times

Enjoyable, frequently funny comedy enlivened by winning comic performances from Vaughn and Wilson and a strong support cast ...
Matthew Turner-ViewLondon

Almost nothing in the second half of the film is exactly funny, but consistent geniality counts for a fair bit.
Tim Robey-Daily Telegraph

This will date rather badly, and possibly very quickly.
Adam Lee Davies-Little White Lies

If you can ignore the eulogising of Google as a pinnacle of corporate altruism, there's fun to be had ...
Tim Evans-Sky Movies

It's precisely the type of film the critics hate. Ignore them, yahoo'd be a fool to miss it.
Andy Lea-Daily Star

Is it supposed to be flattering to Google that two idiots bullsh*t their way into a highly competitive internship, even though they know nothing about computers, or the Internet, or programming?
MaryAnn Johanson-Flick Filosopher

Eight years on from Wedding Crashers, [Vaughn and Wilson] successfully rekindle their irascible shtick.
Ken McIntyre-Total Film

Vaughn and Wilson have a nice bantering chemistry but their material is terribly thin.
-Scotsman

A gratuitous spruik for the money-churning web giants but not without moments of wit. The duo rediscover a little of their old magic.
James White-Empire Magazine

It's as if Google devised a programme to churn out an average Hollywood comedy and offered it to director Shawn Levy (and Vaughn, as co-writer) with a proviso that they make the company look good.

Free Watching Something in the Air Movie From Home

On behalf of Sundance Selects, you and a guest are invited to a screening of SOMETHING IN THE AIR, the newest film by French filmmaker Olivier Assayas. Following his critical triumphs, SUMMER HOURS and CARLOS, Assayas' semi-autobiographical new feature is a vibrant, incisively crafted story of a young man's artistic awakening in the politically turbulent French student movement of the early '70s. In a nod to his earlier film COLD WATER, Assayas' surrogate Gilles (newcomer Clement Metayer) is a graduating high school student in Paris deeply involved in the counterculture of the time. While Gilles begins to realize that his interests lie more in the revolutions in music and art, he finds himself pulled into ever more dangerous political protests by the people around him, especially his radicalized girlfriend (Lola Créton of GOODBYE FIRST LOVE). Illuminating and elegiac, Assayas' story celebrates that thrilling, evanescent moment in history when young people could feel revolution just within their grasp.

Something

Review For Something in the Air

A wispy picture, likeable certainly but lacking in crispness and clarity.
Rick Groen-Globe and Mail

Assayas captures a season in the lives of a group that envisioned themselves as bearers of truth ...
Linda Barnard-Toronto Star

Free of nostalgia and not overly critical in hindsight, it captures the immediacy of youth in hugely endearing fashion.
Dave Calhoun-Time Out

Every kid believes the world around him is changing in ways it hasn't before; for these kids, it really was. Or had.
Bill Goodykoontz-Arizona Republic

The pretty actors and counterculture nostalgia kept reminding me of Bernardo Bertolucci's The Dreamers. This is a much better film, infused with Assayas's characteristic love for the freshness of nature and the eagerness of youth.
J. R. Jones-Chicago Reader

Worth seeing for what it says of the turbulent state of France in the early 1970s, when Mr. Assayas was a high-school student in Paris ...
Joe Morgenstern-Wall Street Journal

Accumulates a heady, almost trippy power, like the often lengthy psychedelic recordings by the Soft Machine and Kevin Ayers heard on the soundtrack.
John Beifuss-Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN)

So brilliantly directed, you'll feel like you are really there.
Graham Young-Birmingham Mail

Revolution is less an action with direct purpose than a way of life in Olivier Assayas' heady, conflicted ode to the anarchic spirit of May 1968.
Chris Barsanti-PopMatters

Something in the Air is not a film for all tastes, but it brings back a crucial part of the last century, touches on experiences we've all had at some time and is performed with delicacy, sincerity and conviction by a splendid young cast.
Philip French-Observer [UK]

Assayas films it with a kinetic camera that follows his young protagonists through halls and stairways as they look for themselves. It's an assured film about rocky beginnings.
Jay Stone-Canada.com

This sharply well-made French drama tackles an offbeat chapter in history with real skill, although the densely populated screenplay and fragmented approach to storytelling makes it difficult to engage with.
Rich Cline-Contactmusic.com

What ultimately makes this film stand out is the way it captures the painful dawning experienced by all human beings that neither youth - nor you - are eternal.
Rebecca Davies-Film4

It treats the characters with respect and a tender regard for an idealism that maturity seems unlikely to sustain.
Allan Hunter-Daily Express

A coming-of-age drama which boasts delicious camerawork, a perfect soundtrack and fascinating insights into the importance of cinema. It's desultory to a fault.
Charlotte O'Sullivan-This is London

The hectic theories that have spiritual and erotic dominion over these young people and compel an elaborate network of secret meetings feel astonishingly inert.
Antonia Quirke-Financial Times

The tumbling, seemingly aimless narrative ... gives it the unmistakable feel of what the French call a film à clef.
-Daily Telegraph

This might just be Assayas' masterpiece.
Wally Hammond-Little White Lies

The ideas get lost in the nostalgic, elegaic glow, but that glow is nurtured expertly.
Peter Bradshaw-Guardian [UK]

It's essentially a series of black-out scenes tracing the lives of young activists who grow and change before our eyes. And while filmmaker Assayas and his fine cast convey that beautifully, they never properly engage us.
Rich Cline-Shadows on the Wall

A nostalgic and thought-provoking coming-of-age drama with a terrific soundtrack to boot, though some may find the relative lack of plot frustrating.
Matthew Turner-ViewLondon

Something in the Air is somewhat too ambitious within its aims, fitting too much in to its two hour running time.
Craig Skinner-HeyUGuys

The characters exist more as poster children than fully formed individuals, but somehow that seems beside the point.
Kelly Vance-East Bay Express

Phantom

Review For Phantom

Ed Harris and company can't lift this one off the seafloor, and "Phantom" fades away into the murky mist.
Laremy Legel-Film.com

The film remains mediocre, with flat cinematography and crudely anachronistic dialogue.
Stephen Whitty-Newark Star-Ledger

A game effort by a decent cast highlights the old-fashioned submarine thriller "Phantom," but heavy-handed dialogue, flurries of melodrama and a silly ending make the whole enterprise sink like a stone.
Walter V. Addiego-San Francisco Chronicle

It's not something you want to plunk down $12 for, but just diverting enough to check out when it arrives on Netflix Instant.
Lou Lumenick-New York Post

[Its] admirable air of realism dissipates once Robinson takes viewers outside the sub, where torpedo skirmishes are staged with too-perfect CGI bombast.
Ann Hornaday-Washington Post

"Phantom" has a pulpy B-movie intensity and economy to match its cast of quality character actors.
Andrew O'Hehir-Salon.com

When limited by budget, a good independent film turns in on itself and spotlights the actors, and that's where the meat is in this movie.
Kevin Carr-7M Pictures

Done well, submarine movies are intense affairs that keep viewers glued to the screen as characters play breathtaking games of cat-and-mouse. Done poorly, they turn out like Phantom.
Forrest Hartman-Reno Gazette-Journal

It's fun just to hear the lingo and watch the sailors go about their tasks, but not so fun when the captain's Dark Secret starts giving him cheesy, strobing flashbacks.
Margot Harrison-Seven Days

At least it seems to have a working knowledge of submarine procedures and terminology.
Todd Jorgenson-Cinemalogue.com

Inexcusably tedious, resulting in yawning boredom
Susan Granger-SSG Syndicate

Scuttle it.
Kelly Vance-East Bay Express

Seriously, where's that giant octopus when you need him?
Dave White-Movies.com

Harris, Duchovny and Fichtner lead a strong cast in a engrossing submarine adventure
Jackie K. Cooper-jackiekcooper.com

Taut, tense sub drama is entertaining, despite cliches.
S. Jhoanna Robledo-Common Sense Media

Phantom features some wonky visual effects, but one either buys into a film of this kind or not.
Leonard Maltin-Leonard Maltin's Picks

Dramatically waterlogged and, despite the efforts of a strong cast, more than a little silly.
Frank Swietek-One Guy's Opinion

Slow start, fast finish.
Boo Allen-Denton Record Chronicle (TX)

Ed Harris is back in command and the world depends on him. Look out.
Ron Wilkinson-Monsters and Critics

When it's focused, it comes together in satisfactory way, blending crew procedures with stratagem. When it loses its step, it's utterly forgettable, even with its submarine setting.
Brian Orndorf-Blu-ray.com

It's an okay military thriller. But considering the real-life story behind the tale, it could and should have been so much more. (Full Content Review for Parents also available)
Jim Judy-Screen It!

Techs are OK and the cramped claustrophobia of pre-nuclear submarines is palpable. But, "Phantom" does not approach the last great submariner flick, "Das Boot (1981)"...
Robin Clifford-Reeling Reviews

Even some faultless acting in the lead roles cannot redeem the preposterous goings-on in this throwback of a suspense thriller set aboard a Russian nuclear submarine at the height of the Cold War.
Shirley Sealy-Film Journal International

We get stern orders, dry technospeak and the occasional physical incident, but far less than what's required in such an apocalyptic setting.

Free Watching Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones 3D Movie From Home

The second prequel to the original Star Wars trilogy takes place ten years after the events depicted in Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace. Now 20, young Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) is an apprentice to respected Jedi knight Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor). Unusually powerful in the Force, Anakin is also impatient, arrogant, and headstrong -- causing his mentor a great deal of concern. The pair are ordered to protect Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman), the former queen of the planet Naboo, now representing her world in the Galactic Senate. Someone is trying to assassinate her on the eve of a vote enabling Supreme Chancellor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) to build a military force that will safeguard against a growing separatist movement led by mysterious former Jedi Count Dooku (Christopher Lee). After another attempt on Padme's life, Obi-Wan and Anakin separate. The young Jedi and Padme fall in love as he escorts her first to the security of Naboo and then to his home world of Tatooine, where the fate of his mother leads him to commit an ominous atrocity. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan travels to the secretive planet Kamino and the asteroid-ringed world of Geonosis, following bounty hunter Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison) and his son, Boba (Daniel Logan), who are involved in an operation to create a massive army of clones. A vicious battle ensues between the clones and Jedi on one side and Dooku's droids on the other, but who is really pulling the strings in this galactic conflict? In late 2002, the movie was released in IMAX theaters as Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones: The IMAX Experience, with a pared-down running time of 120 minutes in order to meet the technical requirements of the large-screen format. ~ Karl Williams, Rovi

Review For Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones 3D

This time the exposition is so thick that everyone except acolytes may tune out.
Jonathan Rosenbaum-Chicago Reader

Christensen is a winning mix of sultry and sulky as the now older Anakin, while McGregor is finally beginning to relax as the mentor who understandably refuses to treat his moody pupil like a grown-up.
-Time Out

Lucas has never been able to conjure another Han Solo, a character who could, with simply a wink, remind us that this was just an overgrown Saturday afternoon serial.
Bill Muller-Arizona Republic

A commendable example of the sort of movie we once loved and then outgrew.
Peter Rainer-New York Magazine

The scale of the enterprise is thrilling; it's too bad the movie is so muddled on so many different levels.
David Edelstein-Slate

The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones have reduced the franchise to, well, a franchise.
Desson Thomson-Washington Post

Sit back and enjoy fantastic, imaginative visuals.
Nell Minow-Common Sense Media

It starts off briskly with some fantastic special effects and a great high-speed chase but then founders on the shores of bad script writing.
Amber Wilkinson-Eye for Film

Though, lacking in plotline it makes up for in action and character depth.
Felix Vasquez Jr.-Cinema Crazed

Lucas does not always recognize his limitations. This tends to make films of mixed quality. Still, there is always enough that is excellent to make them worth seeing.
Mark R. Leeper-rec.arts.movies.reviews

Attack of the Clones emerges looking as bad as if not worse than its 1999 predecessor, thanks to the lame romantic subplot, which is so badly written, directed and performed that it surpasses Jar-Jar Binks as the all-time low point in the series.
Steve Biodrowski-ESplatter

Makes The Phantom Menace seem like one long clearing of the throat before Lucas could begin to tell the real story.
Matthew De Abaitua-Film4

The special effects are remarkable, yet somehow numbing, and the film only partly lives up to the promise in the title of Lucas's company, Industrial Light and Magic.
Philip French-Observer [UK]

While it lacks the quality of Empire's script and performances, Clones is the most visually enthralling of the series so far.
Jeffrey Overstreet-Looking Closer

It is certainly better than the childish Phantom Menace and the final 45 minutes of straight action beat the editing nightmare at the end of the last film.
Joe Lozito-Big Picture Big Sound

As convincing a job as they, Christensen, and Lee do, they all end up being upstaged by the jaw-dropping skills of a CGI creation: Yoda (again voiced by Frank Oz), who finally gets a chance to show exactly why he has such a legendary reputation.
Michael Dequina-Film Threat

The magic has definitely been recaptured.
Chris Gore-Film Threat

The muppet steals what's otherwise an underwhelming show.
Christopher Smith-Bangor Daily News (Maine)

Clones is far from perfect, but when it clicks, it revives the old spirit that made a generation become so obsessed with all things Star Wars in the first place.
Mark Pfeiffer-Reel Times: Reflections on Cinema

It's impossible...to dismiss a film with this much stuff: exotic production design, imaginative characters, and a wide variety of digital jedi fu.
Peter Canavese-Groucho Reviews

It would be easy to say that this film is fantastic and blows away the others, but unfortunately I cannot.
Mark Sells-Oregon Herald

Superior to Episode I -- The Phantom Menace, with its annoying Jar Jar Binks and its dull, galaxy-hopping story line.
Judith Egerton-Courier-Journal (Louisville, KY)

Enjoy this film they will.
Todd Gilchrist-FilmStew.com

Alternately excites and bores.

Free Watching Bolshoi Ballet's The Nutcracker Movie From Home

Despite its reputation as the bonbon of the ballet world, The Nutcracker is far from a sugary cliché. The plot is as crazy as it is convincing. The surreal action takes place in an increasingly fantastical world, leaving the cozy domesticity of Clara's parent' house far behind. As soon as the audience adapts to one new world, another follows swiftly on as transformation follows transformation. The magician Drosselmeyer sets out to find a young girl who can break the curse imposed by the Mouse King on his nephew Hans-Peter, and restore him to human form. Mice and toys stage a pitched battle. Drosselmeyer sends Clara and Hans-Peter to the Land of the Snow and then to the Kingdom of Sweets where they meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and her prince.
